Section 01 - General Information

EDUPRO Privacy Policy contains information on collection, use, storage, treatment and protection of personal data of users and visitor EDUPRO, in order to demonstrate absolute transparency on the subject and clarify all interested in the types of data that They are collected, the reasons for the collection and the way users can manage or exclude their personal information.

This Privacy Policy applies to all users and visitors of the EDUPro application and integrates the General Terms and Conditions of Use of the Software, duly registered with the CNPJ under No. 39.865.437/0001-23, located in Av. Dom Pedro II , 1269 - Torre, João Pessoa - PB, 58040-440, hereinafter nominated Institute of Teaching and Research Periodicojs.

This document was prepared in accordance with the General Law on Personal Data Protection (Law 13.709/18), the Internet Civil Mark (Law 12.965/14) (and the regulation of EU No. 2016/6790). Also, the document may be updated as a result of any normative update, which is why the user is invited to periodically consult this section.

 

Section 02 - How do we collect the personal data of the user and the visitor?

User and visitor personal data are collected by the platform as follows:

When the user creates an account/profile on the platform: This data is the basic identification data, such as email, full name, residence city, social security number and profession). From them, we can identify the user and the visitor, as well as ensure greater safety and well-being to their needs. Users and visitors are aware that their platform profile will be accessible to all other users and visitors on the platform.

 

Section 03 - What personal data do we collect about the user and visitor?

The personal and visitor's personal data collected are as follows:

Data for the Creation of the Account/Profile on the Platform: E-mail, Full Name, City of Residence and Profession.

Data for Navigation Optimization: Access to pages, keywords used in search, recommendations, comments, interaction with other profiles and users, straight profiles, IP address.

Data to achieve transactions: Payment and transactions data such as credit card number and other card information, in addition to payments made.

Newsletter: The email registered by the visitor who chooses to sign up for the newsletter will be collected and stored until the user requests the Descapestro.

Sensitive data: The platform can collect the following sensitive user data: ethnic or racial origin, political opinion, religious conviction, genetic data, health data, sexual orientation

 

Section 04 - What purposes do we use the user and visitor's personal data?

The personal and visitor's personal data collected and stored by the platform is intended:

User and Visitor Welfare: Improve the product and/or service offered, facilitate, speed up and comply with the commitments established between the user and the company, improve the user experience and provide specific features to depend on the basic characteristics of the user.

Platform improvements: Understand how the user uses platform services to help develop business and techniques.

Ads: Present personalized ads to the user based on the data provided.

Commercial: Data is used to customize the content offered and generate subsidy to the platform to improve the quality of services.

User profile forecasting: automated personal data treatment to evaluate use on the platform.

Registration Data: To allow user access to certain contents of the platform, exclusive to registered users

Contract Data: Give the parties legal certainty and facilitate the completion of the business.

The processing of personal data for purposes not provided for in this Privacy Policy will only occur through prior communication to the user, so that the rights and obligations provided for herein remain applicable.

 

Section 05 - How long is personal data stored?

User and visitor personal data are stored by the platform during the period required for the provision of the service or the fulfillment of the purposes provided for in this document, as provided for in item I of article 15 of Law 13.709/18. Data may be removed or anonymous at the user's request, except cases where the law offers another treatment.

Also, users' personal data can only be kept after the end of their treatment in the following hypotheses provided for in Article 16 of said Law:

I - compliance with legal or regulatory obligation by the controller;

II - study by research body, guaranteed, whenever possible, the anonymization of personal data

III - transfer to a third party, provided that the data processing requirements provided for in this law are respected;

IV - exclusive use of the controller, forbidden his access by a third party, and provided the data anonymously.

 

Section 06 - Safety of stored personal data

The platform is committed to applying technical and organizational measures able to protect personal data from unauthorized access and situations of destruction, loss, alteration, communication or diffusion of such data.

Credit card data is encrypted using the "Secure Socket Layer" (SSL) technology that guarantees data transmission safely and confidentially, so that data transmission between the server and the user occurs in a encrypted manner and encrypted.

The platform is not exempt from liability for a third party fault, such as hacker or crackers, or user's sole fault, as in the case where he himself transfers his data to third parties. The site is committed to communicating the user in case of any security violation of their personal data.

The stored personal data is treated with confidentiality within legal limits. However, we can disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our terms of service.

 

Section 07 - Data Sharing

User data sharing occurs only with data related to publications carried out by the user himself, such actions are publicly shared with other users.

User profile data is publicly shared on search systems and within the platform, and the user is allowed to modify such a configuration so that their profile does not appear in the search results for such tools.

 

Section 08 - Cookies or Navigation Data

Cookies refer to text files sent by the platform to the user's computer and visitor, which are stored in it, with information related to navigation on the site. Such information is related to access data such as place and access time and is stored by the user and visitor browser so that the platform server can read them later to customize platform services.

The user and visitor of the platform manifests to know and accept that a navigation data collection system can be used through the use of cookies.

The persistent cookie remains on the user's hard drive and visitor after the browser is closed and will be used by the browser on subsequent visits to the site. Persistent cookies can be removed by following your browser instructions. The session cookie is temporary and disappears after the browser is closed. Section 09 - Consent

By using services and providing personal information on the platform, the user is consenting to the present privacy policy.

The user, when registering, expresses to know and can exercise his rights to cancel his registration, access and update his personal data and guarantee the veracity of the information available by him.

The user has the right to withdraw their consent at any time, so that they must contact us via email

 

Section 10 - Changes for this Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so it is recommended that the user and visitor review it frequently.

Changes and clarification will have an effect immediately after its publication on the platform. When changes are made, users will be notified. By using the service or providing personal information after any modifications, the user and visitor demonstrates his agreement with the new standards.

Given the merger or sale of the platform to another company, user data can be transferred to the new owners so that the permanence of the services offered.

 

Section 11 - Jurisdiction for Conflict Resolution

For the solution of disputes arising from this instrument will be applied fully Brazilian law.

Any disputes should be presented at the district forum where the company's headquarters is located.
